Hello, I’m Marilyn and I’m so pleased to welcome you to Hedgehog Gifts.

We are a small family team based in the idyllic Cumbrian countryside near the Scottish Border - we're committed on delivering outstanding customer service and exceptional quality items to our customers.

Our Story

Our story began in 2005 when I decided to give up my full time career and do something I was more passionate in ~ sewing! My grandmother was a tailoress making men’s suits and beautiful lady’s gowns so as a little girl I was always fascinated by her Singer Tredle Sewing Machine with its drawers packed with wooden thread bobbins and colourful buttons of all shapes and sizes. So hence my keen interest for sewing became a huge hobby at an early age (along with my love of all animals!)

Hedgehog Gifts has evolved over the last 14 years from my selling handmade crafts to our store which now involves the help of more family members; my husband Richard and daughter Danielle not forgetting grandson Elliot the toy tester!

Personalised Handmade Gifts

Our own ‘Hedgehog Gifts’ brand offers a variety of exclusively designed and handcrafted personalised items. These include; Taggy Comforters, Baby Pram/Cot Blankets and Cushions all of which are individually handmade to order with an enormous amount of care and attention to detail, using appliqué/embroidery from digitised artwork.

We now sell superb Children's Toys and unique Baby Gift Hampers at great prices with an emphasis on high quality. We can give you help and inspiration if you are looking for that extra special occasion gift; i.e. a Baby Shower, a Newborn Baby, a Christening or Naming Day Ceremony, a Child’s Birthday, Christmas!

We are continually on the lookout for new and exciting products to compliment our existing selection. We source all our toys and gifts, including organic and Fair Trade items, from only the finest companies throughout Europe and the world.
